home from surgery

much more to come tomorrow. i was told not to blog. in case i regretted what i wrote because i am on such strong medications. but we are fine. i am sore and very uncomfortable from surgery and still very nauseous, justin is taking care of everything. he is perfect. even when i am fiesty. he braided my hair for me right before i went into surgery because the bump from my ponytail hurt when i laid down. i never knew he could braid. thanks for the prayers. they were heard because the appt with our new oncologist was so great. i love love my new doctor and my surgery went well.

  1. Glad this FIRST step went well today ! Prayed for you today, cousin!

  2. Libby, My most favorite scripture was the one my mother taught me. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” (Philippians 4:13). I have always carried this with me through the tough times in my life.

All I can say is that I am so amazed by your strength and I read that you are doing this every single day. I have a constant prayer in my heart for you all.

You looked beautiful as ever in your prom dress. Your positive thinking, family, friends and most importantly God will continue to be your strength. Love and prayers ~Shirl

  3. Hey Libby,

Just want you to know I've been praying for you and your family since I heard the news of your diagnosis. I'm following your blog through my tears, but you also managed to bring a smile to my face when I think of how Justin braided your hair because "the bump from your ponytail hurt" when you laid down. What a sweet image!

  4. Libby, I don't know you, but I started reading your blog today and I am starting to pray for you starting NOW! Thank you for posting the part about Justin braiding your hair. It's strange that something so small could touch me so much. You're so lucky to have such a wonderful husband to share this journey with!

i read every comment. so please leave one. i love it.
