My girls are up and about

Ava is mobile. Hurricane is coming. Babe, it has been incredible to see you moving around and back to your old self. I dread the next chemo day, but I pray, that it does its job, and sets you free! Then you will change this blog to "Don't waste your life", and keep living your incredible story in Christ. You are being strong. You are beautiful. Contrary to what you say, you look amazing. You are loving us well. I read Col 2:5 all day today, and thought of the firmness in your faith. Keep striving! We are more behind you then day 1, and you have to know this and remember it. I love you babe. Watch out for Earl.

check out the video...just press the words below
For family and friends to catch up on Ava crawling!

  1. What a sweet video of your beautiful daughter. I really hope I get to meet her soon. Praying everyday for you and thanking the Lord for blessing you with such an amazing family. Love you! Kar's reception they played Fleetwood Mac's "I want to be with you everywhere" and I started to cry. People must have thought I was crazy.

  2. Hi! I've been following your journey now for a couple of weeks...i'm not even sure how I got to your blog! I just wanted to let y'all know how much you have encouraged me by your beautiful example. Thank you for being steadfast and faithful. On top of that, thank you for being honest! I can't even begin to imagine the rollercoaster that is now your life. Praying often for your sweet family :) BTW, your Ava is beautiful. What a blessing she is for you during this time!!

  3. Cell phone bait! What a concept. Ava's cousin Jack would approve...remember how he fixated on cell phones? What a great video! Her Oma and Papa love it. And we love her and her parents. See you in October. That is, if Earl doesn't relocate batteries?

  4. Aaw! Little Ava could cheer up anyone's day.

  5. love the video! we have one of caroline and i'm using my cell phone to entice her too! glad to hear everyone is up and moving! we love you guys!

  6. are pure joy to my soul...seeing the sweet look of pride & accomplishment on your face as you achieve this milestone warms my heart...please take care of mommy & daddy in case earl gets too close to the river house...loving you from afar...aunt becky & cousin drake

p.s. drake watched your video and we'll see if it inspires him to see that crawling on your hands and knees, rather than doing the army crawl on your belly, is more efficient!! xoxo

  7. loved watching her. you are right...totally different baby.
can't wait to hold her in my arms....only 1 week!

  8. Oh my goodness, Ava is getting so big! and now mobile.........see how time flies?? I hope this cancer flies just as fast. Ava is just beautiful and she has lost that baby look. Such a beautiful family that you have. Love and prayers. ~Shirl

Lib- I have been thinking about you in the most random times lately. i just miss you, actually. it's not even been about the cancer. and then it dawns on me- you are this new person every day in Christ and it makes me sad that I am not able to meet you where you are every day. so this blog is still great =)

Lib, Have a great must be so proud of Ava...just like Daddy, can't wait to get going. Hugs and prayers! surfing in a hurricane!

  13. Your story is amazing...I just started my blog a few days ago and I "follower" I don't know popped up on it today. I was doing some digging to figure out who it was and saw the title of your blog. I clicked and here I am. A year ago (8/31) I was dx with MS so I'm relating very well to your stories. You're in my prayers, Libby. Remember Phil. 1:6 "He who began a good work in you is able to complete it until the day of Christ." Through Him all things are possible, friend. I'm so glad I found your blog. My story is posted as well; if you get the chance to read it I hope it will help you along the way on your journey. I know yours has already helped me in pushing forward and sharing more of my "life with MS"'s not complaining, it's not asking for attention; it's simply sharing what the Father is capable of. I fully believe that God has a purpose and a plan for our live as He promises in Jeremiah 29:11...somehow, some way, for you and me it involves these diseases. Through them HE will be glorified and the love we had for Him BEFORE will be like a grain of sand compared to what we feel for Him NOW. Grace and peace to you, sweetie. Contact me any time, all the info is on the blog: And you and your little family are in my prayers. ;)
    In Him,

i read every comment. so please leave one. i love it.
